ELECTRONICO is an electronic music duo
formed in Brussels in 2019 by Nicolas Elbo & Petia Staneva
Biography of Nicolas Elbo
Born in Brussels, Nicolas is rocked by music since his childhood (his mother is a dance teacher). His adolescence is marked by the electronic musics he listens to in clubs and festivals in Brussels, Ghent, Antwerp, Leuven and Liege. Nicolas spends his nights compiling the most innovative artists in eclectic playlists: house, techno, electronica, intelligent dance music, drum and bass, nu jazz, trip hop or psytrance. Soon, he started as an amateur DJ for private parties.
In 2014 Nicolas meets Petia Staneva, a Bulgarian violinist and singer who settled in Brussels. He follows her during her performances and starts his career as a professional DJ mixing for weddings, celebrations and corporate cocktails.
In 2018, in order to convince his partner to engage in music production with him, he released two first EPs under the pseudonym ELECTRONICO. Self-produced, Nicolas is introduced to the music industry and creates a network for its own promotion on the internet.
In 2019, Nicolas participates in contests and remixes internationally renowned artists. He collaborates with a French lyricist, Jérôme Attal, and puts to music one of his poems. With these experiences, Nicolas reaches a certain maturity and is joined by Petia with whom he is now preparing the continuation of the adventure of ELECTRONICO in duet.
Biography of Petia Staneva
Petia started playing the violin at the age of 7 and graduated from the Conservatory of Sofia in Bulgaria. She then studied for one year at the Conservatory of Turin in Italy to become concertmaster. After graduating, Petia was awarded the position of principal violin in the "First Private Orchestra of Bulgaria".
In 1994, Petia had the opportunity to sign a contract with Hilton, Sheraton & Conrad: three of the most prestigious hotels in Brussels, Belgium. In a few years, she created a repertoire covering a wide range of genres, from classics to contemporary pop music. This allowed her to start an independent career based on a unique act of virtuoso violin.
Today, in addition to playing the violin, Petia also sings. She works now with the best companies and event organisers from Belgium, France and the Netherlands. Petia often appears on stage as an opening act for famous Belgian artists such as Dana Winner, Axell Red, Will Tura, Salvatore Adamo, Johan Verminnen, Bart Herman, Gary Hagger, Jean Bosco Safari, Coco Jr., etc. She also works for exclusive events such as Miss Belgium, Miss Belgian Beauty, Night of Exclusive, La Strada Fashion Show, Eccentric, Xenses and many more.
ELECTRONICO will be a new duo adventure in her beautiful career.
